Gazprombank and the international group Charoen Pokphand Foods (Thailand) entered into an agreement on the principal terms of financing the construction of a hi-tech pork slaughter and processing facility in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The press service of the credit institution told that the total investment in the project will exceed 10 billion rubles. The deal will be completed on the principles of project financing within the framework of the preferential lending programme for agricultural producers.

According to Alexander Ushkov, the First Vice President of Gazprombank, Charoen Pokphand Foods is one of the key partners of the bank in the agricultural sector. He reminded that together the partners have already implemented more than one large investment project in the pork industry in Russia.
