The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade (Minpromtorg) is developing a draft government decree that would help Russian exporters to organize an after-sales service system for products in foreign countries.

"To receive support, exporters will need to submit an application through the State Industry Information System with the required documents attached. The tentative deadline for the tender is July 2021, and the conclusion of agreements with organizations is September 2021," the ministry said in a statement.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the lack of well-functioning service impedes the sales of Russian exporters, so a system of after-sales service centers should be created. In addition, the ministry notes the need to encourage continuous training of service employees and increase the speed of response to customer requests, for which purpose partner dealer centers are being created.
