The Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan (Minselkhoz RB) has opened applications for participation in the "Agrostartap" grant competition.

"The grant "Agrostartap" is an opportunity to receive from the state on a non-repayable basis up to 3 million rubles for the development of its farm or up to 4 million rubles, if the farm belongs to a cooperative. State support is provided to peasant farms or individual entrepreneurs only on a competitive basis", - explained the ministry.

To take part in the contest one should submit a business plan for his farm to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. It will be considered by the committee, which will estimate the project on a scale of points. The agricultural project with the highest number of points will be subsidized by the state. Every meeting of the Commission will be broadcasted online on the Youtube channel of the Ministry.

Sixty-eight budding rural entrepreneurs of Bashkortostan got grants worth 211.5 million rubles in 2020. This year, the total financing of the program amounted to 154.3 million rubles.
