Alexei Uspensky, Minister of Economic Development of the Sakhalin Region, held meetings with entrepreneurs from Nogliki and Okha, according to the department's website.

During negotiations with owners of shops, catering outlets, hotels and companies of the fishing industry, transport accessibility and the provision of subsidies were discussed.

"Proposals were voiced from representatives of Nogliki businesses to create a unified Internet platform, where it would be possible to obtain services for the organization of cargo transportation from one point to another," the statement reads.

Besides, businessmen told about problems of doing business in municipalities. The Ministry has taken all suggestions into consideration.

Now, small and medium businesses on Sakhalin can take advantage of preferential micro-loans, which can be obtained from the My Business Centre, or purchase specialised vehicles on favourable terms from SakhalinLeasingFlot.
