A new production of smart beds will open in Bashkortostan. This was reported by the republican Ministry of Economic Development and Investment Policy.

The production will be created within the framework of the agreement on inclusion of the "First Furniture Company" in the register of residents of the territory of advanced socio-economic development (TSEZ) "Neftekamsk".

Beds will be equipped with a massager, a dressing table, storage drawers, an acoustic speaker, USB charging, and a touch screen control with a voice assistant.

Investments in the project will amount to 2.7 million rubles. Production is expected to start during 2021-2024. This year 180 beds will be assembled, by 2023 - up to 530 pieces.

The project will create 10 new jobs.

Neftekamsk SEZ was created on February 12, 2019. In total there are 5 territories of advanced socio-economic development in the republic. There are income tax benefits for their residents: the federal part is zero, the regional part during the first five years is 5%, in the next five years - 10%. There is a reduced coefficient when applying the mineral extraction tax.
