UMATEX Research and Development Center, a resident of Technopolis Moscow, has developed carbon parts for racing motorcycles for international superbike competitions. This was reported by Alexander Prokhorov, the head of the department of investment and industrial policy of the capital.

"Composite materials for different application sectors - from aviation and space to shipbuilding and oil and gas industry are created and produced in Moscow special economic zone. One of the interesting projects was development of carbon parts for racing motorcycles by UMATEX Research and Development Center," TASS quoted him as saying.

The parts have been developed with Kawasaki Puccetti Racing team.

They will improve the speed and aerodynamic characteristics of the motorcycle.

It is worth noting that such a bike takes part in the British Superbike Championship BSB for the first time.
