Altai authorities are ready to reduce electricity tariffs for businesses by 20% starting from July 2021. This was announced by the head of the region Oleg Khorokhordin.

"We are now working together with the leadership of the neighboring Altai Territory and the Russian government, and we hope that from July 1 this year, electricity tariffs for legal entities, including individual entrepreneurs of the Altai Republic, will be reduced by an average of 20%," TASS quoted him as saying.

He pointed out that now electricity prices in the region are among the highest in the Siberian Federal District, although Altai received the support of the president in solving this problem earlier.

It was noted that the population would not be affected by these innovations.
