The rural organizations of Bashkortostan have purchased more than 1.8 thousand units of machinery for 6.1 billion rubles, which is 30% more than during the same period last year, the republic's Ministry of Agriculture said.

"The stable renewal of the fleet of agricultural machinery makes it possible to carry out field work in optimal agro-technical terms. It is especially relevant in the current dry year. Thus, about 3.9 thousand grain harvesters will be involved in harvesting, which is by 100 harvesters more than in 2020," the head of the Ministry Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said.

According to him, the republican program of technical and technological modernization plays an important role in the renewal of the agricultural equipment fleet, which allows farmers to subsidize up to half of the cost of purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment. Last year 1.8 billion rubles was allocated from the regional budget to reimburse part of the cost of purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment.

"Of course, concessional offers from leasing companies also facilitate active purchasing of new machinery. Agrarians are actively using them. Under the Rosagroleasing program agricultural producers in the first half of 2021 submitted 422 applications for purchasing equipment to the amount of 2.8 billion rubles and 299 applications for 2 billion rubles were approved. Rosagroleasing has already delivered 246 machines worth 1.2 billion roubles since the beginning of the year," the ministry said.
