Innovation science and technology center "Aerospace Innovation Valley" (AITC) will appear in Ryazan region, reported "Made in Russia" in Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI).

"With the participation of the Moscow Aviation Institute, the government of the Ryazan region and the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), an innovation platform with an advanced research infrastructure will be created in the region, on the basis of which new technologies and products will be developed and educational programs will be launched," the MAI told the project.

The programme will cover such areas as aerospace systems and technologies; radio engineering, electrical engineering, electronics; information systems and technologies; biomedical technologies and medical products.

"The creation of the Aerospace Innovation Valley STC will make it possible to solve complex tasks faced by the industry - from forecasting the development of core markets and technologies to the implementation of individual productions, launching promising start-ups and training new competences. The STC will also promote the formation of interdisciplinary projects related to the diversification of aerospace technologies, radio engineering and information systems, as well as their integration with the development of biomedical technologies," noted the Rector of the Institute Mikhail Pogosyan.

Ryazan INTC can become a powerful point of growth for the region's economy and science, said the governor of the region, Nikolai Lyubimov. "This is new jobs, new opportunities for large and small industrial innovation companies, for the implementation of unique projects of any scale, for the attraction of new qualified personnel. For us, the project to create the INTC is a major breakthrough in scientific and technological development," he stressed.

"For us, participation in such a strategically important project with the active support of the Ryazan region, the Moscow Aviation Institute is extremely important. This is an opportunity to solve together the tasks that are set today in the direction of technological and innovative development of our country", - added UAC director Yuri Slyusar.
