The tenth Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) International Conference on Cooperation in Higher Education will be held as part of the VI Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Roscongress, the forum organizer, said.

"The APEC International Conference on Education is an effective discussion platform for representatives of ministries, specialized organizations and leading universities in the Asia-Pacific region. Such a format is aimed at achieving urgent goals for the development of educational cooperation faced by the regional community. The event contributes to solving problems of preparing qualified personnel and employment of graduates in the Far East of Russia", - these words of Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum.

Three thematic tracks are planned for this year's conference: "Striving for New Partnerships", "Responding to Future Needs", and "Unlocking Potential". Participants of the discussion will consider potential areas of cooperation in the region and beyond, identify trends and challenges for the development of the Asia-Pacific educational community, and discuss ways of strengthening regional education systems to ensure sustainable socio-economic progress in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Eastern Economic Forum 2021 will be held on 2-4 September in Vladivostok on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU).
