Retail trade turnover in Moscow region for six months of this year amounted to 1.5 trillion rubles, wholesale - 4.4 trillion rubles. According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow region, the region ranks second in Russia by the absolute volume of retail trade turnover.

As noted by Minister of Agriculture and Food Sergei Voskresensky, the retail trade of the Moscow region demonstrates stability and recovery rhythm, "despite the difficult period and time constraints."

"The region's retail trade turnover amounted to 1.5 trillion rubles in January-June 2021. Including the turnover of large and medium-sized retail trade organizations is 1.3 trillion rubles," he said.

He also said that the turnover of the Moscow region wholesale trade amounted to Br4.4 trillion for the first six months of 2021, including the turnover of large and medium-sized wholesale trade organizations - Br2.5 trillion.
