The brightest scientific films of the last years will be shown in Moscow at the festival "FANK" from 24 to 30 September, said the Ministry of Culture of Russia.

The screenings will take place in four Moscow cinemas - "Illusion", "New Tretyakovka", "Oktyabr" and the Documentary Film Center. The festival viewers will be able to watch over 20 full-length films about science and new technologies including the Russian premieres.

The films will explore themes of space, artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, human fears and relationships. For example, the opening film will be "In Pursuit of Hedonia" directed by Pernille Rose Gronkier and voiced by British actress Tilda Swinton.
