The All-Russian Cooking and Service Olympiad "Legend" will be held in Perm on 10-12 September. More than 200 participants from 55 Russian cities have registered for the competitive part of the Olympiad, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said.

"This is a unique industry competition for representatives of the professional community of cooks and restaurateurs. The main aim of the event is to raise the level of the restaurant and hotel business in Russia. This venue is of great significance for the Perm Region in terms of promoting the products of regional producers and developing gastronomic tourism", the Ministry explained.

The strongest current representatives of the culinary and service industry were selected to take part in the championship.

More than 35 master classes on cooking and drinking, customer service and three conferences will be conducted within the framework of the Olympiad.

The championships will be held according to the international standards of organizing competitions under the Worldchefs system. Victor Belyaev, President of the National Association of Culinary Professionals of Russia, will be the chairman of the jury.
