One of the largest packaged water producers in Russia, Baikalsea Company, was the first to complete preparation of its enterprises for product labeling. This was reported by Kirill Volkov, head of the Excise-free commodity groups department of the Center for Development of Perspective Technologies (CDPT).

"Baikalsea was the first company to complete preparations for labeling packaged water. This was facilitated by participation in the experiment, the responsible approach of the entire project team and company management to the project, as well as constructive interaction with the state and the system operator," said Volkov.

It is known that the company chose two integrators, TrekMark and Antares Vision. The former has equipped most of the enterprise's lines, while Antares Vision installed its equipment only on one line of BAIKAL 430 water bottling line, where special ink will be used. Thanks to the implemented solutions, the reject rate on that line does not exceed two bottles per 10 thousand products.

Recall that from September 1, 2021 the first stage of labeling of packaged water in Russia has started. Market participants must register in the "Honest Mark" system within this phase. From Dec. 1 will be mandatory labeling of mineral water, and from March 1, 2022 - the other types of drinking water.
