Ozon will allow sellers represented on the marketplace to sell their products through the Ozon Express express delivery service.

"Ozon will give entrepreneurs the opportunity to sell goods through the Ozon Express service. For this purpose, sellers will participate in auctions for deliveries to darkstores (warehouse store - note). From there, Ozon itself will deliver goods to customers in an hour or at convenient time intervals," Ozon said.

Service Ozon Express was launched in 2019. Here customers can order delivery of groceries, FMCG, electronics, sports or children's goods, as well as items for animals in 1 hour or at a time convenient for the client.

Previously, Ozon procured goods independently from suppliers, which were then sold through Ozon Express darkstores. Now this model will be complemented by a new one. Entrepreneurs whose products won the auction will supply goods to darkstores, from where Ozon itself will deliver the goods to the end buyer. Sellers will have to pay a commission for this, similar to the commission from the sale of goods on the marketplace.
