French President Emmanuel Macron opened in Paris the Russian exhibition "Morozov Collection. Masterpieces of Contemporary Art".

The President thanked the Russian leader for his assistance in organising this exhibition. "I express my gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin. I know that he played a big role in making this exhibition happen," he said.

The ceremony, according to TASS, took place at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in the capital, where a unique collection of iconic paintings by French Impressionists and post-Impressionists and Russian masters was just unfolded.

The president of France was accompanied by his wife Brigitte Macron and the ministers of culture of the two countries, the Russian ambassador to France Alexey Meshkov, the founder of the "Louis Vuitton" foundation and the heads of Russian museums.
