The Russian government has simplified the import of medical products for seriously ill patients, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers has said.

"The decision concerns the import of medical devices which are not registered in Russia and have no domestic analogues, which are necessary for specific patients for vital indications", - clarified the government.

Now such products are imported individually in agreement with Roszdravnadzor.

It is specified that foreign companies will be able to issue a permit for import through the Russian portal of public services on March 1, 2022.
