Marketplace "AliExpress Russia" (part of Mail.ru Group and Alibaba Group) is studying the possibility of an IPO in 2022.

As Mail.ru Group Investor Relations Director Tatiana Volochkovich reminded, the company has already announced earlier that it did not rule out an initial public offering as one of the ways to develop - as part of a joint venture with Sber and Alibaba.

She clarified that, as reported the year before last, an IPO of such assets could be one of the development scenarios in the next three to five years, writes TASS.

"Accordingly, purely theoretically, if nothing changes, the results are decent and the market is ready for this kind of placement, the board of directors will support such a strategic vision of management, then we can say that something can be seen as early as next year. But no such decisions have been made," Volokovich added.
