Russia and Vietnam discuss a schedule of supplies of the Sputnik V vaccine
The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) has agreed with Vietnamese holding T&T Group to supply a batch of Sputnik V vaccine to Hanoi, RIA Novosti reported citing Vietnam's Ambassador to Moscow Dang Minh Khoi.
"The two sides are actively working on developing a schedule of vaccine deliveries suitable for Russia's production capacity and Vietnam's host capacity," the diplomat told the agency.
To date, Sputnik V has been registered in 70 countries with a total population of more than 4 billion people. As part of the international promotion of the Sputnik V vaccine, RDIF has signed agreements on the production of the drug with leading pharmaceutical companies in India, China, South Korea, Argentina, Mexico and several other countries.
Earlier it was reported that a plant for vaccine production will be built in Hungary.
