"Gazprom-Media" plans to launch an application Yappy, the concept of which lies in the fact that users will be able to create and publish videos of up to 1 minute in length, says "Kommersant".

The holding company told the newspaper that Yappy is based on the Yamolodets application, which was created with the support of the Innopraktika Foundation. Yappy application is designed for users aged 14-34 who are "keen on self-development and career, and for whom personal recognition and material success are important", Gazprom-Media specialists noted. Content authors and viewers will be able to view videos in a personal feed.

At the moment, Yappy is completing its closed beta testing. On average 300 bloggers are involved in it every month. The application is scheduled to be available to users online by the end of the year.
