Russia has become the main exporter of Georgian wine. According to the National Wine Agency of the republic, Georgia exported more than 43 million bottles of wine to Russia in the first nine months of 2021.

It is noted that this is an increase of 7% compared to the same period of 2020.

In second place on the volume of purchases of Georgian wine was Ukraine (8.6 million bottles of wine), in third place - Poland (4.1 million bottles of wine)

Recall that in late September, the Russian government proposed to increase duties on wine and beer. For instance, there was a discussion about the products from the European Union.
