Revenue of Yakutia Technopark residents has doubled this year

The revenues of Yakutia Technopark residents at the end of 2021 amounted to two billion rubles. This is twice as much as a year ago, the editorial office of Made in Russia was told by the Yakutia Press Center in Moscow.

They said the technopark plans to build a biotech center in the near future, which will provide comprehensive support for high-tech projects and will be the largest in the Far East by 2024.

"According to preliminary data, the total revenue of the residents of technology park "Yakutia" and IT park "Yakutsk" in 2021 amounted to two billion rubles, which is almost twice as much as in the same period last year. In 2021, residents attracted more than 70 million rubles of investment, "- said the press center.

As the head of Yakutia Aysen Nikolaev reminded, the technopark was the first development institution in the region, and in 2012 it had only 12 residents.

"Today, 167 innovative companies already create products worth more than 2 billion rubles annually. This year alone, 334 new jobs were created, and many graduates of the technopark became residents of the territory of advanced development," he added.

The technology park includes a biotechnology laboratory, a regional engineering center, the High Tech Park IT Park "Yakutsk" and a branch in the city of Neryungri. The residents here work in different areas: information technologies, energy saving and energy efficiency, bio-, agro-bio- and biomedical technologies, construction, transport and transport infrastructure. The products of these companies are supplied in Russia and exported to Finland, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan.
