The volume of Moscow's exports to Germany has grown almost 1.5 times this year
Metropolitan companies have increased the volume of supplies of non-core non-energy products to Germany in the first nine months of this year, almost one and a half times, up to 1.35 billion dollars, year on year, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Vladimir Efimov.
He noted that the pandemic has not become a barrier to the development of trade cooperation between Moscow and Germany. According to his data, the Russian capital is a leader in sales of non-primary goods to German partners among Russian regions.
"Trade turnover between the capital and the Federal Republic of Germany is growing dynamically, reaching $22.76 billion for the first nine months of 2021. At the same time, non-resource non-energy exports from Moscow to the republic increased by almost 47% and amounted to 1.35 billion dollars, and imports reached 9.45 billion dollars, exceeding the same figures of last year by 25.1%," - said Efimov.
Industrial products, as well as medical equipment, plastics and automotive equipment are in particular demand in Germany.
