Crimean companies took part in a business mission to Egypt, which took place in the second half of December. The participants were the cereal and flour producer Krasnogvardeyskiy Elevator, the company Altum, which produces building materials, and the food producer Kerchkholod.

During the meeting, Russian companies were able to get advice on entering the Egyptian market, as well as information on the demand for products, tariff and non-tariff barriers, the Russian trade mission in Egypt said.

"During the visit, the export potential of not only the companies participating in the business mission, but also other export-oriented enterprises of Crimea in various sectors was presented, meetings with potential partners were organized, as well as with the leadership of the Association of Egyptian Businessmen," - noted in the department and added that the parties expressed interest in the development of mutually beneficial trade and economic relations.

In addition, the meeting discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation and implementation of joint projects in the food and construction industries.
