Grain export quota will start working on February 15

In Russia from February 15 to June 30 a quota for grain exports will be established. Such a decree was signed by the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

This year quota for wheat will amount to 8 million tons, for rye, barley and corn - 3 million tons.

It is assumed that together with the floating export duty, this measure will contribute to food security of the country will minimize the growth of domestic grain prices and the ultimate prices of flour, bread and bakery products, milk and meat.

The Federal State information system of traceability of grain and processed products will start working in Russia in 2022. It will contain information on all organizations involved in production, storage, processing and sale of products, their consumer properties.
