Agrarians in the Trans-Baikal Territory will receive support totaling 1.46 billion rubles in 2022, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture said on Friday.

"According to the results of 2021, we managed to conclude 12 agreements with the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia to finance activities aimed at the development of agriculture in Zabaikalye, totaling 1.46 million rubles. Last year 1,19 million rubles was allocated from the federal and regional budgets to support regional agricultural producers", the department pointed out.

The ministry explained that the increase of subsidizing is connected with new directions of the state support, such as compensation of expenses for preparation of projects of land plots land survey and cadastral works by municipal districts. The region will also provide grants to support scientific and educational organizations, and to stimulate the development of sub-sectors of the agro-industrial complex.
